I killed a man in my home in self defense and hid the body rather than going to the police. As days went by I was increasingly worried about going to the cops due to the time passing since the incident.
Dreams about killing someone can often symbolize a desire for power or control in waking life. In this dream, the act of killing the man may represent a subconscious need to overcome an obstacle or assert yourself in a difficult situation. The element of self-defense suggests that you may feel threatened or vulnerable in some aspect of your life.
Hiding the body instead of reporting the incident to the police could indicate a feeling of guilt, fear, or a reluctance to face consequences for your actions. The worries about time passing in the dream may symbolize a fear of the situation escalating or becoming more complicated as you delay taking responsibility.
Overall, this dream might be reflecting feelings of internal conflict, a need for protection, and a struggle with decision-making or facing the consequences of your choices. It's important to remember that dream interpretation is subjective, and the true meaning can vary depending on your personal experiences and emotions.
